What processing means here
The public version transfers selected documents, processing options, any password you enter and redaction terms to PLV's hosting server to perform the operation you request. This is server-side processing, not browser-only processing. When run on your own computer using localhost, that computer performs the work.
No saved result files
The application processes uploads, previews and results in memory. It does not intentionally write document inputs or outputs to disk, store them in a database, keep a results library or create a reusable server download link. Buffers are released after each request. This is not a guarantee of immediate forensic erasure of memory. The public deployment disables request/response disk buffering and runs the document processor with a read-only filesystem, no swap, no core dumps and no outbound network access.
The result is transferred to your browser for preview. A preview request sends the PDF back to the same service to render the selected page, again without retaining it. The browser holds the result until you clear the workspace or close the page. Click Download to save a copy to your own device. Browser settings control the destination. Browser and operating-system caches, device backups and downloaded copies are outside this application's control.
Your choice and responsibilities
You may decline processing by not uploading. Acknowledging the notice is not permission to upload someone else's information without authority. Use only documents you are entitled to process. Avoid highly confidential, health, identity or financial documents on the public service; ask PLV about an internal installation. Clearing the browser cannot cancel work already in progress on the server.
Security and redaction limitations
No system guarantees absolute security. Automatic redaction is pattern matching, not complete personal-data detection. It may miss names, images and handwriting. Check every page. Redaction rebuilds all pages from masked images and discards original PDF objects; searchability, accessibility tags, editable forms, links and digital signatures are lost. Other tools are not malware scanners or document sanitizers.
Technical information and advertising
The application does not log filenames, document contents, passwords or redaction terms. Hosting and network providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timing and browser details for delivery and security. LovePDF's web-server access and request-error logs and container logs are disabled. Hostinger may maintain infrastructure and account-security records under its own policies; these are separate from document processing. No marketing use of uploaded documents is authorised.
Google AdSense verification metadata and ads.txt identify PLV's publisher account. Advertising and analytics scripts are disabled in this release. Document workspaces exclude these scripts. PLV training promotions are ordinary links. Ad activation on public editorial pages requires Google approval, appropriate consent messaging and an updated notice describing the actual data use. External links have their own privacy terms.
Access, correction and enquiries
Contact PLV about your personal information, correction, access, withdrawal or complaints. We cannot retrieve document results because we do not retain them. Do not email sensitive documents or passwords for support. Enquiry emails are handled separately to respond to your request.
