Know what each tool changes.
Compression may soften images. Password protection requires you to remember your password. Redaction creates an image-only PDF: selectable text, links, forms and digital signatures are not preserved. ZIP is packaging, not encryption or malware scanning.
No blanket safety promises.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Only process documents you are authorised to use. Automatic redaction can miss information; inspect all pages before sharing.
